After maxing out TH8 completely, I have recently upgraded to TH9. Farming was good for the first day, but ever since has been terrible. I was in g3 finding decent collector bases but can't find ♥♥♥♥ now! Any advise?

the first few weeks after you upgrade any TH is a bit of a grind. it's tough to find loot until you build better troops and find a new trophy range. just stick to it and you'll be fine. i'm a TH9 farming 1800-1950 range. loot is fine up there.
I find that collector raids completely depend on the time of the day. If you aren't finding any don't give up and switch trophy range right away. I did very well at the beginning of TH9 at bottom of gold/top of silver looking for collectors. Finished up skull walls, plus 20 legos in a couple weeks plus did camps, sf, lab, drills to lv5, aq to 7. . . keep at it, loots there if you stick with it!Originally Posted by jlanz

farm in a higher league. I'm in gold 1 as a brand new th9. Th9 for 16 days now but my progress is really good. Xbows done, queen lvl 5 going to 6, barbs done in day, walls all lvl 8, camps done, new buildings still upgrading.
If you have time to farm use barch in gold1 and look for raids of at least 150k ea. Takes under a minute to find one and you get great dark elixir too. Actually, i have so much loot i have builders ready automatically for each upgrade. My aq constantly upgrades when i have builders. If i upgrade queen then i get excess gold and elix if i upgrade camp or troop or something then excess dark. Just plan it out and do 1 upgrade of each at a time and it should go by fast.

Im a new TH9 too! is it really that easy to find loot in gold 1? =X I barely find any above 100k ea. Can you give an estimate of the number of next used per raid find? thx!!

I'm at the 1650 range, average 30-50 nexts to find a 250k each storage raid or 150k collectors
Normally in about 10 nexts if bad loot day then i just target the 100ks
