I know this is a constant question, but when do I upgrade? I've got everything one level below max, except cannons, those are maxed at 11. Most of my walls are dark purple crystals (forget the level at the moment) with like 10 of the black walls. All of the troops I use are max, except hogs which I'll have at level 5 Ina few days. Keep in mind I only raid when I dont have a shield or must clear my camps for wars, so I don't rely on loot much.
You should only upgrade to th10 when your clan level is 10, simple

You should max out defense and almost max out lab.
I'd say at least get your walls up to level 8
Get your heroes anywhere ABOVE level 15

I feel like with th extra collectors at town hall 10 the loot penalty won't be that bad.
if you dont depend on raids much then just go to TH10, the extra collectors would help loads.
Don't upgrade for 3 more months at least. I would say start upgrade on 1st June, 2015.

One extra collector is 84k gold/elix a day, which is nothing. I would get more done before going to th10.

I'm still on the fence. So far for me it's
Pros: More collectors, bigger camps, better defenses, and better lab.
Cons: Less loot, tougher opponents, and I'm not maxed.
