Just 3* a rushed TH9 guy with...guess what..BARCH! walls? a mix of gold/pink and crystal.

It's doubtfull that you can 3* a th8 with skull walls - i can't and im a maxed th9.

P.S.: my heros levels are BK 15 and AQ 13...and even with them, its hard to 3* a TH8 with maxed walls with just barch and heros. Let me rephrase it: i've never been able to 3* a TH8 with skull walls, even with spells and heros. Walls are important to max at TH8.

P.S.2: oh...and because i have a mix of skull with lego walls (which i'm farming atm), not many players target me..usually they only target my TH, which is on the outside.

A maxed TH8 is much easier to raid than a rushed TH9 with TH7 defenses and purple walls, simply because of more structures and more scattered storages

Well, this only true is the attacker is th9.
If the attacker th10, then he might choose your base because it is more profitable.

Asuming both of you have 3mil in gold and elixir in the storages.

You know that there's one thing called jump spells right..just fill up your storages and wait...everyone will go for you with such low defenses...hell...i would go...be your walls zap,lava,lego...since walls are your only decent defense

Walls are important (up to a certain level)...but keeping everything balanced is important too.

Defenses take time, you should know that. If I farm 7mil gold today and start Xbow lvl3, I will have excess elixir right? Then I spend it to do walls. If I keep doing this, one day I will finish walls before my defenses can catch up.

Feel free to come at my base, I'm not afraid of losing 350k, when I can farm 5-7mil per day If I maxed Th8, I would have been losing 300-500k per day and only farming 1mil per day

nah..not really. my gg and ee are similar to yours...(360 mill GG and 408 mill EE, 832k HH), still, i'm a maxed th9 and doing level 9 walls now..got 66 legos done...the rest is all level 8 that i did at th8 which was the best thing i did, since i can spend both types of resources on them now. The good thing about all this, is that im comfortable with my base defenses, which can sustain heavy fire (yep, a gowipe usually only gives 1*), while my walls are getting better each day to avoid mass WBs going through them.

Lol, my stats in the sig are 2 weeks old. Now I'm at 480m,490m,830k. How long have you been playing, I started little more than 6 months ago. See the reason and rationale I rushed?

That's what you think. I use that elixir to fund super expensive armies to core you th9's and get all that dark elixir you horde

You can't be playing for just 6 months. not even 7. I play every single day (not all day long since i do have real life commitments), for the past 10~11 months or so, and still i never left one builder without anything to do, except when doing my walls at th8...oh and i've got 5 builders since th6..so..that can't be So, you're trying to find a way to justify your (unrational) rushing

Walls rushing or base rushing ain't good. I learned it the hard way, when i did rushed from th6 to th8...took me months to fix it and i said to myself that i wouldn't repeat it again, because it took me a lot of time to up defenses and be on pair with everyone else.

That's why I rush lol. Imagine if you had not done all your TH8 defenses, had not wasted 1 month of time in TH8 waiting for lab. I spent the first 3 months reaching TH8, 1 month in TH8 then another 2 months+ in TH9. This is what I've been trying to get to you, a rusher can reach TH9 faster and more efficient than a maxer would ever be.
