Well that's the thing. I donate dragons, pekkas, loon, all of the expensive stuff since im in a high tier war clan. I don't go cheap yet i still have nothing to do with this elixir. I just don't understand why they chose to make the balance WORSE. they took 2 steps back for no apparent reason and called it Fixing economy?

It is fixing the economy... Now i can raid fat th8 for their elixir

Town hall 7-8 Elixir to gold balance is off. In order to max walls now costs WAY more gold without the offset of using elixir.

This update took effect as i was in th8. My elixir loot compared to gold loot, I'd have to loot 108million more gold to max my walls, and only 3 barrack upgrade are left for my elixir. This is by far off,

I will be holding 6 million elixir through the whole duration of time it takes for me to loot 106,000,000 more gold. My current elixir and gold loot is even. 1/1 ratio. and yet i have 106million more gold to max my walls. This will take effect in clan wars. and may cause the enemy to have a th9 relevant to my # in clan war. Either allow us to use elixir on lower leveled walls again, or lower the price of walls. They are by far the most expensive in the game.

Elixir has nothing to do with clan war matching.
You do not need to max th8, just upgrade to th9 and use that elixir.

Well you better believe that for the first year of clash it was 'off balance' for th9 and 10 when they couldn't use elixir for walls. Up your town hall and be thankful.

Because TH 8 is still quite easy. It's better to fix the economy in TH9+ where it's harder

In like 2 weeks I won't have much use for elixir anymore so I hope he gets what he wanted.
Yup I hope all those th8 dump tons of elixir into their walls....so when he is th9 and th10 there is no elixir anywhere to be found for his upgrades and troops. Just like it was for us players who had to level up during that awful period where there was no elixir anywhere to be found. Maybe then he'll shut up!

Honestly, skull walls are not that expensive. A little bit of farming and you will make good progress. Oth, legos and lavas are a pain and require diligent farming. Idk how people managed to farm legos and lavas back in the day when you could only use gold.
