Changing the colour of opting in or out of war

We are starting our first war with the new feature of opting in or out of war.
There is an issue that a simple fix would correct.

As it stands now, each member is automatically opted in. They have to opt out to not be included in the upcoming war. This creates a problem immediately if some members have not been on for a few days and have not been aware of an upcoming war.

Perhaps the default for WAR should be a different colour and would be totally NEUTRAL. Meaning not in or out.
That way, the leaders running the war can see who has actually OPTED in (different colour) or OPTED out (different colour) and who has not chosen anything.

IT would make it much easier for leaders to either opt a person in or take them out prior to war instead of just hoping that they will show up.

Anyone like this idea? It seems really simple to me.

Or just have the default as Opted out. Then they actually have to opt in to participate in war.
