Since the last (few) updates there have been a bunch of people TH8 and below clamoring for more content. The arguments against that is that there are already so many buildings that there isn't a lot of room, and adding more to lower levels upsets the balance. But what if they added in a TH8 ability to "upgrade" the Spell Factory with one dark elixir spell to be used in DEFENSE. You set a default location that the spell will trigger if troops enter the space, and the spell can be moved without actually taking up any space on the map. And you can make it expensive enough so that even though TH8 has access to it, no one would really use it until maxing out drills at TH9 levels.
What the spell could be is a different story... No ideas yet.
How about a confusion spell that works on towers and causes them to attack their own Clan Castle troops for a short amount of time?
