Fair enough, to each their own! And again, no complaints from me if it were added! Haha, interesting to see someone on the internet accept someone with a difference in opinion, but I digress. Carry on, good sir

It should have a real time status on each player (let's say a player with status of attack searching and then there will be a "Watch Live!" button). Advantages are they are able to review gameplays for different types of bases (farm, def, hybrid) with variation of troop usage and also not to forget those fail moments.
As soon as the three-minute raid timer begins counting down, they will run towards the Town Hall even if it is the first building to be attacked. Even if the Town Hall is destroyed before them reach it, they will still "enter" it, disappearing upon doing so.

It is hard to say if it will put undue strain on the server. We don't know how much processing power is needed between a 'live replay' (how is it a replay when it is the first play through?) verse a normal replay. Also, people in Clan Wars and people jumping back into the game to watch 'Live Replays' look at many of those a day. What would another live feature add? Once the novelty of it is over with, it could normalize into something quiet manageable. But it is impossible for us players to really know.

Thanks I try to figure out how things work. I have some background with computer processing and code. (not a lot, but enough to be 'dangerous').

One thing people likely assume wrong is that replays are videos. It isn't YouTube. Replays are basicly just scripts. It is a set of instructions that tell phone clients how to play the actors (aka army units and defences) on your phone. It is less data intenseive to send a typed script/screenplay of a movie than it is to send the video of a completed movie. This is how many games run, sending directions to and from the server, moving abstract objects, and those objects turning into entertaining characters and enemies on the game screen.

This is likely why all our replays are gone after server maintenance. To make sure there are no glitches, old scripts are erased, because what is used to run those scripts could have been updated and changed, making 'words and instructions' in older scripts unusable, or liable to cause errors. Updating all those scripts is just more trouble than it is worth, and so just get purged. You don't usually need to save all of them, so they are wholesale erased on that assumption.
