Update Question

I posted this on the official update thread, but my question (predictably) got lost amid all the people whining about how the update sucked. So I'll try again.

Does anyone know for sure if Co-Leaders have the ability to set the lineup before each war too? Or is it just leaders and will they have to be starting all wars from now on?

Additionally, can anyone confirm whether or not you can go to war in a lower bracket? Say my clan has 15 members now but 5 don't want to war, can we do 10v10 wars with the 10 who want to battle?

I am not sure about the Co-leader part of your question, but my understanding is in your scenario you would be able to do a 10v10 war

"Added by popular demand, Clan Leaders and Co-Leaders may select who participates in Clan Wars to set up the ultimate team.

When you press the “Start War” button, a list of all your clan members pops up. On the right, you see a button that says “In” or “Out”. When you use this team selection tool for the first time, the “In/Out” button indicates each member’s personal preference. As a Leader or Co-leader, you have the right to override this preference.


Clan War match-ups can only be made in increments of 5 members, i.e. 10 vs. 10, 15 vs. 15 etc. In the Clan War selection tool, the villages that will ultimately participate in the war are shown in green. For instance, if your clan has 20 members but only 17 with the preference button set to “In”, only the top 15 villages will show up as green. This means your clan will be matched in a 15 vs 15 Clan War. If you set all 20 to "In", you will be matched up 20 vs 20.


The game will remember your clan’s line-up from one Clan War to the next. This means that the team you choose in your first Clan War will be the suggested line-up for your next Clan War."

Not sure on the co-leader thing either, but you can choose to do a 10v10. You just have to pick which 5 get benched.
