De zapping

as others have stated,it is a part of the game. we all play within these mechanics. no one likes to get zapped,but it happens.

i'm in masters2 currently and haven't been zapped in a while. my TH is in core. most of the zapping happens to me when i drop to gold or lower. DE being scarcer down there.

i've been to champ's too. in my experience, masters/champ's are not really zapping leagues. ymmv.

DE zapping is a strategy weaker players can use to get what they can from a stronger player. sometimes their only viable option.

The ability to take over 1000 de by zapping a storage needs to be fixed.

It takes zero skill.

I am in masters and I get zapped a couple times a day.
Yes I can stay online for hours if I swipe every five minutes or use a ha ck but since that is really the number one suggestion of how I can game the system to not be zapped then it is broken.

So we come back to fixing the root problem of de zapping so no one has to game the system and we can just play. This is broken and needs to be fixed.

The skillless cowards shouldn't be able to profit with such a absurd mechanic and then hide from the consequences.

I'm not sure why you have been so unlucky getting zapped in masters lge, I have not experienced being zapped myself unless i am low down in the lges around silver and gold, once i get above 2100 it completely stops.

It might be helpful to me and others if you could post a screenshot of your defence log and maybe of your village setup and we might be able to give you a bit more constructive advice rather than the generic advice you have been getting so far

Even though I agree with you that zappers are skilless cowards, it is part of the game. let them zap then you can revenge them and get back more or go attack in masters and make double or triple what they stole.

I am in masters. I get zapped a half dozen times a day in masters.
It takes no skill and the zapper's generally use a ♥♥♥♥ to keep CoC open.

Half a dozen times a day sounds quite a bit exaggerated. Your trophies would go through the roof. At masters II, I might get lit every few days.

They have it backwards, in higher cup ranges you should be protecting your TH if you don't want to get zapped. When people care about cups, they're not going to zap and surrender. By giving them a free win with your TH outside, you're also giving them the opportunity to zap and still get the win.

If you protect your TH, then people will have to "break your base," as you say, to take your loot.

This seems to be a popular belief, but it has absolutely never been my experience. I dont think I have EVER had my TH taken and then my DE zapped. By higher trophy ranges, you mean Master and up? At M3, DE bonus is 500... One archer to check for teslas and then AQ, giving the opportunity to raid again right away and granting the option of lighting someone else. At higher leagues, it is suboptimal to take TH and then light DE of that base. So, TH out.

That being said, if you hide some teslas next to your seemingly-naked TH, imma gonna go ape on your DE lol. Try to do a brother a favor by giving him a shield and surprise me with teslas? Me no likey lol

I think it's balanced!

If they get rid of Zapping, how will I make those dirty TH trappers pay? Especially if I have a BARCH army. Everytime I run into a trapped TH, I do my best to 2 star the base, lure and clear their castle/heroes, and set off every trap I possibly can, and before leaving I Zap the DE storage. I sometimes even Zap it when it's not worth zapping, just on principle!

I'd pay a little DE for a free shield, than losing like 200K+ of each everytime I decide to make an attack! I'm a pretty efficient farmer and don't have the DE hanging around for that long anyways. Plus I always make it back even w/ a couple of BARCH raids.

I wouldn't have accomplished my Lvl 5 King and DE upgrades on TH7 w/o some zapping. Same with my Lvl 10 King and DE upgrades on TH8. I'm now a TH9 and still occasionally do it.

I'll raid properly when I have the army or the base isn't impossible to crack. If the opponent is a poorly leveled TH10 w/ 3K DE, but it's just hard enough for my BARCH army to not get it, I'll Zap away! Sometimes I don't because I do use those Bolts for other things. BARCH storage raids are great when you can zap the right mortars and WT's.

Zapping is as fair as someone 3 starring TH7s and TH8s with Lvl 6 and Lvl 7 troops! GET OVER IT!!!!!!
