i think a new hero is a great idea, here are some possibilities;
wall breaker king: he is very weak in health but does a lot of damage to walls, his special ability would be to instantly break all the walls in a certain radius, the radius would increase as his ability did.
ruler of giants: basically the ultimate tank does a lot of damage and has a lot of hitpoints. to balance this out it would be extremely weak to traps. instead of a giant there could be a ruler of pekkas, basically the same thing bu is weak to teslas or another trap which could be added. the ability for both these would be to rage up and spawn some of the normal troop.
these are just possibilities and could cost dark elixer or unlocked for free by doing a certain quest. as for the trap that is extremely strong against them, maybe a pit or a water trap.
