Yep, each player should have a different number of war XP earned. Your total clan XP should be dependent on all your members xp. That way you are striving to get good players, not just have newbs scramble to older clans.

And it actually benefits you to play well. It's something you earn.

The way it's set up now basically will make it so the more established clans are overrun with noob applications. Pretty dumb.

So you are wrong in saying there was never any incentive. There has always been incentive.
Most people lose elixir and lose or break even with DE when they war, so the loot just replaces the elixir and DE they just spent. As far as achievments go, I meant incentives as in actual tangible incentives that help you upgrade your base and advance in the game; not one time gem bonuses that will let you, what? Have one boost session? I don't consider those real incentives.

Put it this way, were there any threads before about people angry that they couldn't get war loot or war achievments? I didnt see any.

Thats what I'm hoping will happen in my clan too.............

I see no reason that hoppers won't hop anymore --- why would it stop them? the refund in elixir goe to the donator, the hopper gets their troops - which is all they realy want, and then off they go again .......
Supercell neutered my beloved Zaps.... Oh well, adapt and survive... Now BAMing in a league near you, with max rage...

Actually using the right troops will get you a very good amount more loot after the cost of troops has been taken into consideration. Of course people using all drags or all hogs won't make much back from a win, but it was their choice to use such an expensive and powerful army when cheaper ones could be used to get 2-3 stars as well. So your comment is only coming from your view on that subject.

Whether or not you consider them incentives doesn't change the opinion of every other player. I've seen plenty of high level and low level players that take pride in the amount of stars they have gotten in war, and how many wars their clan has won. To them, and most others, that is incentive to win.

I haven't seen any recent threads complaining about war loot, or war achievement. However, I have seen threads about people complaining that war loot bonuses weren't high enough before the update.

For the majority it looks like players are happy with how clan wars are set up, the only constant complaints I ever see are about the hoppers ruining their wars when in reality they probably need to reconsider their leadership roles and how the clan functions.

Getting back to the actual topic of why this thread was created, anyone can read my first comment on page 2.

    XP used in Clan Matching?

If Clan XP is used by the Clan War Matchmaker, then it may have the opposite effect. Clans with limited abilities will only get so far and rarely win. This will cause Clan members to hop to a Clan with a lower XP number or form a new Clan to get easier opponents. Its just like dropping trophies to farm...

Also will have them think twice about starting anew by leaving clan.

Given this, how will it affect your current promotion system (co-leader and elder promotions) in your clan? I am trying to work out a system now an all input is welcome.

    Thanks

The loot is negligible. People did wars for fun, nobody did them to farm resources. Now there is a real reason to do wars.
