Soon they won't look at the people in your clan or the level they'll be looking at what perks they can get from being in your clan....better start warring guys.

This is going to increase hopping.

People who hop are doing it for selfish reasons. They want troops, or to snipe in war. It's so much more of a benefit to snipe a clan with 25% loot bonus isn't it? And to request those troops faster before you leave.
They will target these clans to hop more frequently.

As far as recruiting it has always been a ♥♥♥♥ shoot. People who think recruiting has ever been easy are kidding themselves. This game is just filled with to many idiots to constantly recruit good players. I mean that both on the new members and the clan leaders sides. They are hell bent on jading each other further and further to the point that a lot of really good clans stay small and don't bother with it.

Yea my clan hasn't tried to recruit in a while because 9 times out of 10 the people we recruit end up getting kicked in a week. we had a merger go pretty good and since they came we just win wars, chat and donate and show off all the loot we take.

It has always annoyed me that there are so many players always in global trying to start a clan when they can join a strong existing clan and benefit more. But everyone wants to be "leader". This system makes everyone more of a contributor and therefore maybe gives the satisfaction of being a good or elite member. Something donations could never really do since they are reset each season.

I like cutting down on lame clans. reducing clutter is always a good thing IMO.
I like the way you think. I think the update will strengthen the community and cut back on hoppers.

Yes, but in time almost every clan will be level ten and people won't give it a thought. They need more levels, ten isn't enough.

It won't affect hopping drastically in either direction.

Those who are in a clan and help gain Clan XP will want to stay. While the clan has low XP they will probably recruit a wide variety of players. After a while they have to pick and choose their war roster more carefully if they want to continue to win wars.
Then here come the new(er) players hopping from clan to clan because they keep seeing one with more Clan XP. They will get rejected numerous times for either being low lvl, rushed, terrible base design, low war stars, etc. Those new players will either have to settle for a smaller clan ~ allowing those small clans to grow; or they create their own clan ~ recruit the same type of hoppers they once were.
After that you will have the well structured new clans growing into the first clan I mentioned ~ to repeat the pattern; and there will also be the failing clans that dismember ~ to create hoppers who eventually find a clan they stick with and help grow.

It's a cycle that will continue just the same as before.

For now ten lvl's is fine because.. no clan is even close to it.
I think it is pretty obvious that more lvl's will be added.

This actually prevents people from creating tiny clans that can't go to war or benefit anyone, and encourages them to join larger clans.

Clans under 10 people already couldn't go to war, yet there are plenty of them.

"Prevent" is not correct, it can and will still happen and some of those clans will be content in being small. Also, read my previous comment.

How would perks work under your system?

I would venture to guess he doesn't know. He probably came up with the broad idea, it seemed like a fantastic idea, and posted it without actually thinking about how it would work.
