Will Clan XP limit "hopping" ?

Basically, if you are a war clan, your members have sort of an investment into the clan. Their participation in wars adds to the clan XP. I think this means people will give clans more of a go than before. I like it. Give each member a "peice" of the clan without having to give them Elder and Co. Also will have them think twice about starting anew by leaving clan.

Given this, how will it affect your current promotion system (co-leader and elder promotions) in your clan? I am trying to work out a system now an all input is welcome.

    Thanks

It will limit hopping and kill new clans. I think the war xp should be set up per player, not per clan.

I take it you do not like the effect on newer clans. As a year old clan with a really tight group who is now looking for a few loyal recruits to add to our successful war clan I can say this really helps our cause. I do understand how new clans be starting with some big hurdles compared to clans that have been around longer but there are too many clans out there with >5 members and are idle.

It has always annoyed me that there are so many players always in global trying to start a clan when they can join a strong existing clan and benefit more. But everyone wants to be "leader". This system makes everyone more of a contributor and therefore maybe gives the satisfaction of being a good or elite member. Something donations could never really do since they are reset each season.

I like cutting down on lame clans. reducing clutter is always a good thing IMO.

No, I dont. Im in a clan older than yours that is really tight. So it wont affect me. I just find it unfair to the new guys.

My thoughts exactly. It drives me nuts to see good players that would fit in well with a good clan starting new clans on global. I guess if you want to start a new clan more power to you. Its so much easier and rewarding to get in with a good group. If you build a clan the time consuming way it should not take too long to level up your clan and get a decent amount of war wins to recruit better players.

I really like the clan levels, and I am glad that it will help good clans to recruit better players and retain better players.

It wont change my thinking at all as far as promotion. In my clan all of my cos are either personal friends or family. That way I know I can trust them since they have acces to everything (wars, motto and so on..) my elders are people that have earned a rank through time with the clan and loyalty.

I'm a co in a ok clan, I like it that way. We aren't the best, we haven't won that many wars, but we still have fun. I think this clan leveling system will benefit all players and introduce teamwork as a prominent feature in clans.

Being a GOOD leader is damn hard work.

These twerps generally just want to stroke their own egos, and kick anyone who doesn't follow suit.

That's why good players don't look for clans on Global, and good clan leaders don't bother trying to recruit from there.

Yea it's going to be very hard to recruit good players to a startup clan now. Luckily for me I'm in a friends/family clan so it Isnt an issue.
