Errr, im not convinced. My clan has plenty of players with max def th10s and decent heroes.
Plenty of them have now pushed into champ a little, but they get frustrated at the 3500 mark, which is where the searches for decent cup offers tend to get longer and longer.
Ever notice how many full zap bases you next past offering 1 cup cos theyre sitting at bout 3300? Its because they want to roll in champs because they can, but not get bored in clouds.
The sub-leagues themselves i dont care about, they are fairly irrelevant. Champs now celebrate every new increment of 100 they reach, as thats all there is to aim for. Its the PERKS that would convince more people to push. 2 pronged improvement. Make an incentive to push, then not only do you get that benefit, but if enough people also want it, the higher champ population rises and clouds decrease. Hopefully anyway.

I like the idea, the more incentives there are for people to push up, the less the clouds problem will get...

The incentive for pushing to 4k is making it to 4k. It is an unrealistic expectation for about, idk just guesstimating here, 98% of the coc population. Going through the trouble of introducing new features for ~2% of the games population makes little sense. If you make it to 4k you arent doing it for a higher loot bonus you are doing it for bragging rights to be the best. The reason you're in clouds forever is because there are like 500 players out of MILLIONS at or above 4k. And you want them to add features that would be exclusively for them? Might as well make a whole separate game for that small group because they are playing by themselves anyway. Making more leagues and adding incentives that just allows them to push faster wont eliminate clouds...they will increase them. Cuz attacks will increase therefore more people online, more shields. And if your argument is that people at early 3000 cups will find incentive to push higher for a perk that doesnt kick in until another 600 cups at least.....I am not buying it and I don't think SC is buying it either.
Leauges will increase when there is a NEED, not a WANT. Right now there is no need because they account for such a teeny tiny percent of the pop. If there were no incentive for these people to push that high....they would not be pushing that high. They have their reasons, and the 98% have theirs.
