That's what I assumed, but wasn't certain about how it applies to the filling of war castles during war prep, as that might not be considered in the same way as donating to a player during war. Thanks for the clarification.

Quick question my clan is level 4 clan with 3099 clan xp.. we are 1 xp off to level up to 5. Will we level up after our first attack in the next war?? Any help would be appreciated

The clan XP are awarded at the end of the war, so you will not level up until after the war.
