this is the thread to help AND be helped? I'm totally new to this forum and need to know the basics. I'm a quick learner.
do we goto the persons boat and fill the order or do they come to our stand? Or is that determined by the helper?

Ok, give me a while to fill you in...
You can refer to the 1st page, 1st post for most of the info.(if you set last page 1st then it would be on your last page)
As for how we help, it depends, we usually will ask the candidate to put up the help sign on their boat and just fill their boat if we have enough qty to fill a crate or any no. of crate.
Certain time, we might not have enough qty, then if the candidate has some but not enough to fill a crate, we can either sell it to them on our stand or sell it to another helper with the most qty and get that helper to fill it for them, or if we know that we are going offline and the helper taking over the shift will need certain items which they are short off, we will sell them those items too...it's flexible...the utimate target is to fill all the boxes the candidate ask for help on.
Most importantly, we will ask the candidate to return to the thread to check if it is ok for them to send their boat off after the boat has been completely filled. Sometimes we will need the candidate to hold on to the boat so that we have time to replenish our stock.
And after they sent their boat, we will ask them to let us know what does the next boat want, so that we can prepare for it, and to also inform us when it actually arrive.
You'll see more when there are actions, so feel free to drop by and help out.
With your level, you probably can help to make sugar, cream, butter, etc.
and we need lots of sugar...especially when we have sugar boat or double sugar boat...
Feel free to read up on the thread, you'll see lots...
Also, we make use of another thread, the shortlisted candidate thread to track our candidate n their progress.

To answer your first question, yes this is the thread for help with Captain III achievements. There are candidates on a Cap III challenge and lots of people helping out with that.
It depends a bit. Usually when we have enough of something is stock it is kind of a race who is at the boat first to fill a crate. Most of the time we fill the crates on the boats. Sometimes we need to move stock around from barn to barn by using the road side stand however this is a bit slower and if there's someone around who has enough to fill a crate the crate will be filled faster.
We can always use helpers around this thread. This thread moves very fast though, that is why we have the shortlist to see what is coming in en when it is expected. So take a look at that thread and you have information on what's coming. New candidates will usually use this thread.
Once you have repaired your dock we will all jump on board with you too for you Captain III. We will ask several things that will help us but when you have been keeping an eye on this thread you will know kow it works. Once you embark on your Cap III achievement we will ask you to not help as much anymore and hold on to whatever stock you have. When you are ready to repair the dock start building up a stockpile of all products from the sugar mill.
