Non, no parlez vous Francais, just one of those sayings down here. Some people speak Cajun French, like my stepdaddy, he is 110% Cajun! Cajun French is a local dialect of the people down here, part of the culture from years ago, when they were exiled from Acadia in Canada. But most people who speak French can hold a conversation with those who speak Cajun French, it's just a different dialect. I am Spanish mostly, so I speak some Spanish.

I took Spanish in high school & a friend of mine took French. However, we could have a conversation together using both languages.

Had crawfish and corn macque choux for dinner, yum! Love the food down here, I'm definitely spoiled on Cajun food! Especially with my stepdaddy cooking so well. A lot of men can cook down here.

I learned French in school as well.. for about 9 years.. but haven't used it since so I forgot soooo much of it.

I think that happens to a lot of people It's good to learn a second language. For some reason, a lot of people at one of my schools hated French.. Or maybe they were just lazy and didn't want to put all that effort into learning a second language
