Sometimes the Captains use this thread also for communicating between Captains because it is easier this way to get everyone on the same page.

I couldn't agree more.. because the sugar boats do come in around the same times somehow.

And also...
If you are a Captain and announcing a co-op boat... Don't ask for help on a sugar boat.
If you have plenty of stock and can manage yourself then go ahead and complete your boat. If you can't send it away empty upon arrival to get a new boat in 4 hours.

Yes, I understand that. But, it also brought up the opportunity to inform the other new captains about the policy. Ryezilla is also a new captain & put sugar in a co-op boat, which is actually why I made my post, in reference to her, but directed to all.

I actually don't quite remember who raised the issue.. and I also think it doesn't really matter who raised it. I thought C was making a general statement when addressing this otherwise she would have used a quote. That is why I said the Captains also shouldn't ask help on a sugar boat. In this thread sugar is even more precious than diamonds are.. well almost at least.

I do think it is important to have all Captains on the same page. And for these things we sometimes do use the thread to communicate to everyone so everyone knows and acts much in the same manner.

This will probably be one of the things that will be repeated regularly, much like posting updates, asking to send and don't help when not yet a Captain. Since this co-op thing is new to the game we need to have a certain point of view we all use.

Regarding your request.. Just as an example, it could happen a Captain is reading a post and doesn't know you graduated yet because they have been offline for several hours. They might not read very well and see a post hurry to the farm fill the crates and later see it was used while it wasn't really necessary to do so.
