Trophy Imbalance

Hello, I am a fresh TH8 and level 69, with (what was) 1376 trophies. I was just attacked by an almost maxed TH9, level 105, and 3 starred quite handily. I'm not angry about the loot I lost, it was bound to happen. But to lose 44 trophies to a guy I had absolutely no shot of fighting off is just patently ridiculous. There's a difference there of 36 levels, that has to be accounted for in the trophy calculation.

Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to drop trophies down to 750, then I'm going to hit next until I find a TH6 offering 50+ trophies and I'm going to smash that guy into little bits and pieces, just because I can. You guys have to fix this, its so broke.

after realising this was your fault because it was a revenge, you climbed trophies and your attacker maybe dropped some, will you amend your original post...perhaps just 'my bad'

Yep, u got revenged.. How can one be th8 and not know to look if it was a revenge? My guess is u are rushed pretty good and or u zapped his DE.

Cause they can always take revenge on you..
And BTW, the trophies you lose are based completely on your trophy count.

You could do what i do...

Whenever i'm going to be away from clash for say more than 48 hours, i just drop down to bronze 1 and most of the time i don't lose much loot and get bumped up to silver 2 by the time i log on again. Then if i want to go up higher, i just revenge the oldest attacks in my D logs (generally in gold 1-3 since i sit in that range) and get 50 trophies at a time. Much faster to trophy push back to your regular spot doing this.

I rarely see 30+ trophies in regular attacks (you do get them but not often). It seems like most of the time trophy offering is 15-26.

well you attacked him for a few cups so he revenged you and got 44 thats how it works.
i once got 54 + trophies from a revenge that had no loot but i needed the cups.
Next time choose who you attack wisely.
