Nice idea, but I think this kind of trap would be way too OP and not really fair to all those gemmers who spent hundreds of dollars to get their heroes to level 40 only to see them neutralized by some stupid trap.
How about trapping the hero only for a limited amount of time, depending on the level of the trap (e.g. 5 seconds for level 1, 10 for level 2, etc.)?
I like the idea of other troops breaking it out better actually, with a timed trap you are basically guaranteeing that the hero is locked for that amount of time while with the troops attacking the cage idea the attacker can plan for it and counter it making that expensive hero not impacted by more than a second or two..
alternatively the trap could be set up in a way where the hero attacks it them self too (for reduced dammage since inside the cage) this way other troops can help get it out faster if the attacker is quick and on top of it while the cage would have a maximum time limit which is dependant on the trap lvl and hero level combination?
