why do we need TH10s in a clan after the perks?

no I am serious! I am a TH8 and can constantly 3 star my rival TH8s with dragon or hogs. those TH 10s in my clan only bring in tough TH10s in war that they can 1 or at most 2 star them. We keep TH10s because they do have some nice max level troops, but after we get the clan perks all TH8s can donate most max lvl troops why bother to keep TH10s risking to lose wars when we can have mostly TH8s who will do 3 stars consistently?

I am figuring that the troops will upgrade +1 or +2 levels or to the max level you already have as the receiver. So if a clanmate donates a L1 witch to you and you can make L2 witches, you will get a free ug to a L2 witch.
If you are a TH7 and a TH8 gives you a L2 dragon, it will not ug to L3 as you can't make L3 dragons.
And I have seen a few comments that all these TH8s will now be able to get L4 golems. Based on my logic, you will only receive an ug troop if you can make it yourself, so max to L2. And , newsflash, TH8s cant hold a golem anyway.

This is how I interpretted it as well. Its the only way that makes sense.

As for the title question, you don't if you just wanna stay in low wars and never have a challenge or advance in the game. But I'm assuming eventually some of your clanmates will want to advance and if you're in a war clan you will want the challenges. There was no need for th 10s in a clan before the perks if you just wanna stay at th 8 and 3 star th 8s, you can do that without maxed cc troops.

LOL it in no way whatsoever makes even the least bit of sense. See my previous post. You guys are certifiably insane if you think that'll be the case. How on earth would it be a "perk" to only be able to receive troops up to the level you can make yourself when that wasn't the case before the update?

As for the OP, I have a feeling that you'll be a TH10 yourself by the time your clan reaches level 10. Anyone who thinks the clan levels are going to go by quickly is kidding themselves.

Your normal troops will still be th8-9 level troops.

Your right, there should be diffrent perks % depending on their TH level, why should a TH8 get the same percentage as a TH10, as they are clearly getting it easier :P

With all TH8s in a clan we can 3 star opponents easily, donates all max troops, why bother with having TH10s whos gonna bring in tough opponents in war!

This whole thing about needing or not needing th10's is moot. It's going to be a very long time before you can accumulate enough xp for these upgrades anyway.
