When will all this take effect? Does this include the war opt in/opt out? Stop teasing us with all these updates! LOL

I sure hope it is short. If it takes a year and half to earn all the perks we won't see many new clans after a year passes because no one is going to want to join a perkless clan if it takes a year to get to the good stuff.
Ideally it won't take too long to get to level 10 and they will simply continue to add more levels. I would love to see the donation refund increase all the way to 100%. Imagine the quality of troops everyone would donate if they didn't have to worry about the cost of the troop.

2) So what? "Clash of Clans" has no bearing on the name, at least SC didn't seem to think so, what with Clan Wars only being added in the previous year.
I didn't say that I don't like raiding, I said Wars were broken, which they are.

I read through 6 pages and it was a bunch of nonsense posts.
Trying to find real information about the troop upgrade stuff. how does that work?
It sounds really lame.
I've spent all this time and elixir making good troops for upgrades.. JUST for donations. like valks for example. I don't use them personally, but they're great for CC defense.
Soo… i should have upgraded something else apparently.

So we have 60 odd wins, does that level us up or will all clan xp be set to zero? Love the idea tho, apart from the war wins there was no real incentive to war.. war loot vs cost of war troops, not worth it !!
Anyone know what donated troop upgrade means? Max is 2 levels. Does this mean a troop that is maxed can be made 2 levels stronger?
Haha, there's is quite a lot of rambling, it's hard not to get sucked in.
As for your query, after earning enough "Clan Levels" through compulsory Wars, your Clan earns perks such as a donated troop uprgrade. Whereby if we were in the same clan, (with the donated troop upgrade boost of two levels), and I donated level 3 Goblins to you, two things would happen:
1) You would murder me for donating the best troop in the game,
2) You would recieve level 5 Goblins in your CC.

Haha, that would be interesting, but alas, no.
The troops are not upgraded if they are Max Level; there is a cap in place.
