Clan XP & Perks

Sure there is some improvement and for sure it's the step in the right direction but i'm the kind of guy who would love to do war 24/7 ... war week / hero week : it is a good concept but its not easy to manage in my clan .. some people uppgrading their heroes all the time for months ..

I gotcha. I'm the same, I never miss a war, but I will gem hero time if I need them for war. I know others can't do that.

Since the whole clan benefits from a win now, I think you'll see clans sending a minimum amount of people to war just go get that XP for clan level up.

I already volunteered to lead a small squad on 'off days'. I'm TH10 getting all offensive upgrades with no new defenses so it will give a favorable match

I hope there are additional ways to earn clan XP beyond war. We war once a week and that's a good fit for us as we are all mostly older folks with careers and families/

As leader of a non war clan.....we are concerned that this will give players from war clans an unreasonable edge over us in normal play.

It will be a case of get with the programme...they have given us opt out so no real excuse.

BUT - what they should do is match clans fairly. Not all TH10s are equal and whilst you and i might have the exact same base and troop levels, you might be a much more experienced attacker. So, to make this fair, clans should be based with other clans based on war success AND war base strength - NOT just war based strength. If they dont do this, you could get clans that are continually smashed in clan wars because although they try and war, they have never really raided with power armies and so struggle against players that do.

Ultimately, no one likes to lose war after war so just like we have trophy leagues, there should be war leagues. If you are a clan of inexperienced "WAR" attackers, you should not really be matched consistently to a clan full of 3900 cup players. Makes for bad war match ups and neither side has much fun. Winners dont need to try because the others give up and the losers get frustrated because they feel ill skilled to win.

Well, as an example, you may see some TH8 players with a disproportionate number of maxed troops in their cc because. If you are a TH8 and not in a winning, warring clan, then you may struggle against such players.

I assume perks will be expanded in due course...

Hero regen buffs
Spell cook buffs
Next cost reductions ?!?!
Camp space buff

This is good, clans should be better than others...but needs to be done in the right way. If not, the NEED to have a good clan may actually be destructive to those clans that are basically full of farming friends that are fairly rubbish at WAR...

Still didn't get the full defenition of this clan perks completely. Does it mean that one's clan will only level up through war winning experiences?

so level 5 gives less war loot extra storage than 4, 7 less than 5....

must be an error i guess

not sure i understand what you're saying but one of those is increase war loot bonus % and the other is increase war loot storage

It's just like any other game... those who have more time will get more XP...

Oh right so the troop donations levelling up will be in effect for regular CC as well? I thought it was just for war cc used in defence?

Clans are leveling up! Level up your clan and earn perks, prestige and fancy badges!
