As has been stated earlier, if you want SuperCell to listen, organise a global event where people wont buy gems.

yea this isnt practical really for the global chat stuff... Id suggest we remove global chat entirely there isnt ever anything constructive there anyway and most of the clan finds in there end up being pretty bad fits anyway...

the clan system should have an auto assign feature that would automatically place people within a clan of approximately the same lvl (each clan would have the options to turn on and off the auto assign feature)

this way global will no longer be required to recruit...

Noooo. I'm not saying all that. Global should be there just needs more monitoring or something.

hope your buying gems because as I said, not practical.. its too costly, takes too long, requires people to monitor it...

supercell makes decent coin off this game im sure without monitoring the global chat... lets not kid ourselves into thinking they will ever enforce it.

I'm not telling them how to take action in just bringing it to their attention. That's there decision how to handle this situation

Somebody from SC responded to a thread similar to this a while back. I can't find the link. Basically they said that there are hundreds, possibly thousands of global chats going all the time. There are only 50 people in each one. Lets run some quick numbers assuming a 40 hour work week and lets assume a person can actively monitor 5 global chat rooms simultaneously. . .

500 globals would require 100 people at work to monitor the load.
With 24 hours in a day means 3 shifts (300 people) to cover the week.
Weekend play will likely spike so lets say 150 people per shift for 450 people needed to cover each weekend day.
Certainly people will get sick and/or go on vacation so you will need more staff to cover that . . .
In the end you are looking at 800-1000 employees who would be paid to sit around and watch global chat all day every day.

It simply isn't possible to have it actively monitored. Can you imagine the suicide rate of people with that job? I want to gouge my eyes out every time I accidentally click on global. I am convinced that god drowns a puppy whenever somebody opens up global chat. SC would probably be best served by adding a LONG overdue recruiting interface (with no chat) and pulling the plug on global chat entirely.
