I'm wondering if the clan castle mechanics have been changed lately and if so, when ?
It has been my understanding that whatever troops getting inside CC's radius will lure out ALL troops if given enough time. Even air units would lure out units targeting ground only, those would just stand next to CC and don't move until ground units has been deployed. Such scenario has happened to me often when mass-draging at TH8 with a valk in enemy's CC. It's seldom we face valks in war CC's, but it happened today and I was very confused about our findings. Perhaps it has been known for a while now and we simply didn't pay enough attention, maybe someone could explain the following:
Attack 1 (no screens): My friend "A" attacked a base with air-units, got 2 stars. I wanted to clean after him. I checked the CC radius, then watched replayed. Here's the weird part, this guy had 25/25 units in his CC, but only 1 witch, 1 wiz and 1 archer (total of 17) came out of the CC. So 8 spaces didn't come out and never did, because my friend destroyed CC before deploying his heroes. I'm guessing a valk stayed and died inside as it happened to my friend "B" as well. This time the valk DID come out, but very late in the fight.
