about us:
Amaranthus is a War Clan with wars 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We aim to win every single war we participate by carefully planning what army composition to use against each base; what angle to attack from, and what to focus. We are a clan for those that enjoy obsessing about always getting better with our attacks.
We are always polite and helpful. There is no place for accusations on a war clan. We work as a single unit and for us to succeed we need to offer positive and constructive advice, not blaming others and pointing fingers.
We have strategy depth for winning clan wars. Just check our site to see we are in to give our best for victory and that we are not aimless attacking and hoping for the best.
We accept and help newer players provided they are active and are serious about improving.
The clan has a record of 50 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses (as of February 21, 2015). We had a 37 win streak.
what we look for in members:
members that are always taking the time to get better, and because of that want to be in a clan were their fellow member has the same attitude.
members that even tough seek victory as the ultimate goal, don't became bitter and rude if they don't achieve it.
members that are kind to each other through donations and advice and expect the same from his teammates.

to be sure that we are working as a single unit in our quest for glory, we have a website where every information possibly needed is there. rules, war strategy, donating policies, etc are all there.

when you ask to join the clan, please write something in the request. For example, that you saw us in the forum and read our site. We reject people that don't write something because we get a lot of requests from random people that find us in game and don't even know what the clan is about.

Our clan takes it's name from the flower amaranthus. The name derives from the Greek word ἀμάραντος (amarantos), meaning "unfading," with the Greek word for "flower," ἄνθος (anthos)
An early Greek fable counted among Aesop's Fables compares the rose to the amaranth to illustrate the difference in fleeting and everlasting beauty:
An amaranth planted in a garden near a Rose-Tree, thus addressed it: "What a lovely flower is the Rose, a favorite alike with Gods and with men. I envy you your beauty and your perfume."
