It involves actually reading what's on those threads to see the info. The answer does not automatically beam itself into you if you just keep typing the question over and over. Sorry but that's just not how the forum software works.

Leave it as it is. Some clans have players from around the globe (like mine), with players from different time zones.. That's why a 24 hr prep and war times. Nothing more to explain about this.
Surrender button is really a bad idea, just looking at the enemy's bases or profiles u can't judge the outcome of war. If the enemy are not good attackers, u can still win
. Just because u are not confident in attacking a base doesn't mean that your other clan mates can't. Who decides to surrender? Just because the leader is afraid? It's highly unfair.

It's critical to have a set amount of time for prep that doesn't change. There are too many people and too many variables to deal with when it comes to one person starting the war early.
BUT, if every person says they're ready, whats wrong with starting war early? I can see why a leader wouldn't do it.
In terms if the surrender button, people would declare, loot for a few hours then surrender. If they were going ti implement it, it would make sense to get no loot if you surrender.

Here's a reason. It prevents the enemy from doing loot attacks once they've got you on the ropes. What would you do, give every opponent the top player's loot amount if you surrendered?
Otherwise you negate the ability of the winner to finish all of their attacks and get the loot they deserve for the win.
U have to think of the enemy clan too. There are some clans who have global players with different time zones. It means people play and come online at different times. When u sleep ur clan mate is awake and vice versa.
Thanks for the feedback and discussion everybody. Some valid points were made that I hadn't really thought of. Im still not sold that a variation couldn't be implemented, but it would require lots of tweaking.
