During the last weeks an idea reguarding a new hero came up:
What about a Goblin-King?!
Together with some friends and clanmates I discussed many ideas and possible features. So here is what we would expact/wish the Goblin-King to be:
As the default Goblins, the Goblin-King is (very) fast.
His health is rather low.
His damage a little more than the Barbarian-King, and he deals double damage to ressource buildings (again just like the normal Goblins).
He will unlock at Town Hall Level Eight.
Suggestet costs: 20.000 dark elixir
Now the key point, his Ultimate:
He spawns some Goblins.
He regenerates HP (like the two existing heros).
For a certain time span (20 seconds?!), all the loot he and Goblins in a range (compareable range to Barbarian-King's Rage) around him collect is multiplied! This multiplier can be increased by upgrading the Goblin-King. (We would suggest multiplier 1.5/2.0 at Ultimate Level One and an additional 0.5 for every Ultimate Level, so it will be multiplier 5.5/6.0 at Ultimate Level Eight.) Exact multipliers for the attacker's loot have to be adjusted by Supercell during several tests.
Attention!: Only the loot recieved by the attackerwill be increased! As defender there is no reason for you to be afraid of the Goblin-King. You will lose only the normal amount of ressources. In fact, the Goblin-King generates additional loot for the attacker only. (Example: A 100.000 gold is available. The defender loses a 100.000 gold, the attacker with Goblin-King recieves a 120.000 gold.)
Also important: what can he do while your village is under attack?
Once again like with Barbarian-King and Archer-Queen, there is a certain range where he can target enemy units. Now there are two ways how the Goblin-King protects your village:
He deals damage to ground units and attrackts them.
In the mentionned range around his altar (same size as Barbarian-King's/Archer-Queen's altar range) the attacker can only raid half (or quarter or what ever) of the available loot. So it can be clever to place at least the dark elexir storage within the Goblin-King's range.
Okay, thats what we wish a Goblin-King to be. In our opinion the Ultimate is a feature that espacially helps players who are in the expansion process.
Please submit what you think about this idea. We are thankful for every supporter of our idea and we also like to hear what you would adjust to make the Goblin-King a useful enrichment for all Clash of Clans players!
