Here are some amazing ideas that have been ruled out by the dev time for the time being. Posting these ideas will result in your thread being removed without notice!

Clan Related:
*Add other clan requirements to apply besides trophies, ex: Specific troop lvl, TH lvl, lab lvl, game lvl
*Customizable clan flag
*Add ability to send short message to rejected applicants similar to when expelling
*A large text area for clan rules that just the clan can see (separate from public clan description)
*Leader (and co-leaders) ability to delete messages in chat
*Modify clan msg of player joining with who invited player: xx joined clan, invited by xx
*Add clan rank to Clan Info Screen – Quicker to reference than scrolling to end of top 200 list
*Increase clan size: 75 or 100 are most common requests
* Separate Elder+ chat tab in-game

Yes, but it is really rare. And it think what they meant is not a badge you completely make by yourself.

Yes, this has always been implied and is not the first time it has happened. The ideas are listed as "currently ruled out", and the devs are of course free to change their minds about those ideas in the future. However, the addition of a ruled out idea to the game does NOT equate to permission to post ruled out ideas in the IFR subforum. They will still be deleted.

Edit: good point being made by others here about more options vs customization. Not really the same thing anyway. (although to be fair, I'm not sure any of us would have made a big deal about that distinction prior to the announcement. probably woulda seen "ruled out" posted on any threads, and heck, they may have even been deleted before)

When they said customize clan tag in rule out, they means "upload your own pics" to be the flag.

They was afraid of of abuse (bad language, bad pics, etc)

Now, they basically give us more "choosing option". You can mix and match instead of choosing the exist one, it's still a finite number of "choice". So, it's more like they're adding more option for you to choose.

the badges are still just presets, we just have more freedom on how it will look

I believe what the ruled out "customizable clan flag" is implying is that we can't upload pics, or we can't freely "draw" something for the badge (you know, like giving as like 100x100 space for us to tinker with)

I think ruled out can mean "We have considered this idea, and it may be implemented in the future, so don't bother telling us about this"
