Hey Fellow Clashers!

Hey guys I worry so, so much about my base and it really gets frustrating once I loose an attack. I have a Town Hall level 8 and I just bought $20 worth (2500) of gems. Many people might think that I'm an idiot for doing that. Theres really no game that I'm interested in other than Clash of Clans. Anyway, Should my Town Hall be the center, or the "near center" of my village.

There really isn't a right answer for this question. If you are farming then your loot needs to have the protection and your TH should be placed outside of your base away from defenses to encourage TH snipers so you can protect your loot. In war your TH should be pretty close to central of your defenses. Though some people set their base up with TH off center to entice people to attack that direction and load it with traps.

So to answer your question. It is really up to you where your TH is.

Well it is difficult to answer as where you would like your town hall, I will just state that trophy level determines the opponent you will face. Part of the game is that we all lose defenses that happens. Just so we have an idea here what level are you, and what trophy range are you at currently?

For example if you were to tell us that you are in 3000+ trophies I would be more inclined to say defenses would be a bit tough. Although you will see all level town halls at nearly every trophy level. Do you happen to have a screenshot so we can have a better idea of what is going on, as it could be simple as some design aspect of the base.

As a TH8, you should be farming (unless if you're going for masters) so I would put your TH outside and protect your resources.

With the gems, it's more worth it if you boosted your mines/drills instead of straight-up going to the shop.
