What's a good trophy range for a new TH10 for farming?

I mean that it takes more time to farm in crystal, but imho you tend to get more loot from it. I was comparing loot to time required playing

Ya I've done that. I've found that when boosted 3 barracks I make 2.2-2.7m gold. While in C2, I will only get 1.8-2.2m gold. I believe this is because I have to "next" more often, resulting in less time actually raiding.

I'm going up to C2 now, I might try m3 once I get my defences up and infernos
do I just use barch?

I use BAM with 3-4 giants thrown in. I don't use the minions unless I have to.

Barchiing is a good method but it really takes the right base. I havn't really done it in M3 because of all the high lvl archer towers and morters. I use giants, wallbreakers, goblins, archers, and barbs. With that I will mix in heal spells+hero's if necessary.
