Wait a little more to upgrade those teslas and get golems. Upgrading PEKKAS at TH8 also really helps so it's halfway done by the time you get TH9. So Id sit at TH8 for about a month, probably more for me, to finish maxing it. You really wanna get builders busy with maxing TH9 but it's tough if you're still working on TH8, but you'd do pretty well, just not great

Finish defenses and any lab upgrades first. No point starting behind the curve , when you get to th9 there will be a lot more upgrades so getting stuff done now will stop you from playing catch up later.
Th 9 not maxed 305 GG. Barb King 15 AQ 14 150/250 Legos will finish before th 10
Th 10 defenses maxed now just hero's and walls. 340 GG. Barb King 30 Archer Queen 30
Upgrading walls on Th 10 Legos 55/250 should be done eventually.

You would be totally fine. Your walls are practically done (you could probably finish them in little more than the time it takes to upgrade), and that's really the big thing to worry about as long as your farming troops and camps are maxed. You're good to go any time you get the urge IMO.

Upgrade a few more things first. Your teslas needs upgrading and your point defenses (archer tower and cannon) should be best if it's maxed before moving on to TH9. Once your rage is done, try upgrading your pekka. Then you'll be fine to upgrade your TH.

Finish upgrading everything before moving to the next TH, I moved to TH8 with only cannons and mortars maxed, so I won't recommend anybody to upgrade TH unless:
-All defences are maxed
-All troops you use are maxed
-All walls are either maxed or 1 level behind being maxed
Also, I guess this should be in "How is my base", not "General"

I reccommend you watch "TheHulkFiles" manifesto on maxing vs rushing.....He makes a good point to where if you raid enough, then th9 is actually BETTER than th8....Th8 is just a giant bottleneck of elixir when you could be using that elixir for walls, etc....So i'd say 300+ raids a season and you boost barracks then you will actually be BETTER off at th9.

I would say just unlock the Golems, and make sure that the last Wiz Tower is level 6. After that, I think you should be good to go. I don't see the harm in not upgrading absolutely everything you can before moving up a TH level.
