I'm in a similar position and need some advice. I have two defensive upgrades left (1 Archer Tower, 1 Air Defense) at Town Hall 9 and I have 166 Legos. But my heroes are only at 11 for BK and 10 for AQ and my Dark troops are under-leveled except for the minions. I'll need to spend at least another month getting my golems and witches done plus trying to upgrade heroes. Just not sure when I should go to TH 10. I honestly don't mind grinding out lavas so I might stay here for a long while.
im at full lvl 9 walls and king to 16, queen at 20. i'd say get some walls to lvl 10 with the bare minimum of 20/20 heroes before moving on. i'd rather be a strong th9 than a weak th10. i've seen way too many people complain about the loot at th10 when it comes to gold and elixer.
I stayed at TH9 to max walls and get heros as high as I could while I did walls.
I was concerned that, at TH10, it would take longer to find G/E because I'd lose TH8s to farm.
I'm glad I did, because now I'm TH10 and, while the loot isn't terrible, I'm just nexting a lot more because a TH8 that I previously could have hit for 150/150, isn't worth it to hit now.
Remember, there's no rush... you'll run out of content eventually. BUT, if you are bored of farming and it's killing your interest in the game... then go to TH10.

My defences and lab are maxed, all buildings actually. I have all Legos and my king is going to 18 and queen is 15. Should I go to th10? I'm losing some interest grinding walls and heroes only.

At least all lvl 9 walls and 20/20 heroes . the more you get done as th9 the easier it will be for u as a new th10 i guess
