Hello Junliang,

Nowdays I'm using your pokeball design, kicking some ♥♥♥ and having the gold intact, so thanks alot!!

Now, I'm actually interested in test/use your modification of the Pingfao's base (hybrid), but I don't know how my actual defenses and walls will work. Could you tell me your opinion if I could try that design or wait more time, please?

I wouldn't recommend you using a hybrid base at TH8 unless you defense are fairly maxed out, especially splash towers.

If you wish, you can attempt after all your splash towers are maxed out

btw, I've tried defending with the pokeball without a single wiz twr before as well haha

Yeah, thanks a lot Jun....I use a pokeball core with a jogging track funnel around the outside...it's really is one of the best base designs around...

This is so awkward I never heard of the pokeball defence yet I use it *poker face* I was randomly making a base and the pokeball base came out and I used to swap the cc with the de storage for de arming here's a pic from when I made it 15min ago

Haha, TH9 version

1) Considering you are at gold farming region, there really isn't a need for you to centralise Air def so much, and exposing your mortars
2) Teslas are badass, you shouldn't expose them.
3) Multiple improper t junctions
4) If you have 2 Lv6 DE Drill up and running, exposing DE storage is never an option, even if you are not DE farming lols.
5) exposed xbows ?

But if it works for you, go ahead haha.

Jun will you make a Battleship base for Town Hall 9?

Jun the TH 9 Battleship base looks awesome!!!! The BattleShip Base for TH8 seems to be working more for me than the pokeball base, I wonder why?

Basically

I'm wondering: what is your opinion on the modified wall placements (from the hybrid pokeball) to move the TH outside.

In addition I have been taking a look at your Mortar/Wiz placements.

Basically your design (which allows Wiz to attack outside of perimeter) vs traditional 'layered' and triangulated mortar and wiz, which you can see in my modification. Which in your opinion is better?

Also take a look at the third modified pokeball, which is a completely revamped wall layout with longer funnels.

Jun, just had a look at your base in Exodias II and it looks good. How does it hold up and is there any reason you have all the cannons to one side?

There are many variables.
Like trophy range, level of defense, ability of attackers.

But in general, the pokeball if for protection of all gold/de.
Battleship is for more protection on de than gold.

Its doing pretty well.

No reason.

Will test it out further when I'm leading Exodias II for their Trophy Push on 19th -26th Aug this month.

Hey Jun. I haven't linked you my base yet but here it is finally. I started out with your TH-7, then TH-8 Complete 1A, then TH-8 Hybrid (TH inside) with funneling. My current is below, the one you used for trophy push as we have 1 upcoming. All have surpassed my expectations and defended extremely well. Thanks for everything bro.

My D is nearly maxed so I'll be heading to TH-9 soon. Looking forward to the Transformer.

Isn't TH8 Pokeball vulernable to lightning strikes? 3 strikes and AD and mortar/wizard tower are down.

As the title clearly states, I am a town hall 9 who just upgraded to town hall 8. Unfortunately my clan is in the middle of a cup run , so I can't exactly farm. I have began upgrading my defenses , Level 7 Archer Tower - Level 3 Air Defense - Level 3 Wizard Tower - Level 1 Tesla - Walls : All The New Walls Are Level 5 . No X-Bows yet sadly , Getting 3 Mil while in a cup run is kinda impossible. Base wise, what do you suggest I do? Stick with my Town Hall 8 Base, or go with a Town Hall 9 Base not including X-Bows?

Was really clueless what to do and you seem to be the best at making base decision as far as I know

Also do you have any TH 9 PokeBall bases? Have been using your 3AD PokeBall Set-Up for all of TH 8 , Except our Cup Runs.
