Compilation of Junliang's Base Design- TH7/TH8/TH9, Pokeball/Battleship Farming Bases

Hey Jun - just wanted to say how much I like your bases! I have been using the pokeball base for a while now. People really underestimate how difficult it is to get multiple stores. Some of my clan mates said my stores were too exposed, but guess what? No one has been able to get more then one gold store and one de store. And that was a guy using 8 dragons and 2 rage spells.

I have beaten back several TH9 raids with lvl 6 troops with that design. Best was 15 lvl 6 giants with 2 healers, he did not hit a single gold store, which was amazing! Though it helps that I had max cannons, wiz towers, mortars and 25 lvl 6 archers in my clan castle!

Hey Jun! Thanks for replying to my other post. And dun worry, I still love you and your designs even if they aren't hybrid c: in about 4 days, I'm moving towards town hall 8, and I was planning to use your Pokeball, but realized it was for 3 storages, and the storages aren't exactly my priority to build once I have town hall upgraded.

What do you suggest I do? Build the storages first and then cage em' in with the walls? and what is your FAVORITE variation of the Pokeball? The one that you had more success with, the one that you lurve? :3 cause I'll use that one. ^_^

orange you can just kick out DE storage and put elixir instead of 1 gold and 1 DE then the base fits,i did that

Haha, if you haven't seen it, I've created and used a hybrid pokeball at 2,300 trophy range

Here is the vid:


Storage wise, it really depends on whether you are a hardcore farmer or not.

I was farming 5m+ gold per day, so 3rd storage was a must for me.

A storage takes around 5 days to get from Lv1 to Lv11.

But if its not needed for you, then sure, keep it at 2 storage.

Put the 2 gold storage opposite on another, follow by DE and 1 elixir storage in the last pocket.

Then the last elixir storage, just put it beside the DE compartment or whatever suits your needs.

Favorite wise, would definitely be this

For the TH7 base design 1a one isn't the inside too vulnerable when the outside walls are open? Wouldn't the giants go straight inside and attack the mortar or wizard tower?

Yeah, thats one problem, but at TH7, it a risk you got to take I guess.

But do note that the attacker will require min 4 to 6 wall breakers in order to reach the inner core.

Wanted to give you a free bump for the amazing pokeball base. I've been using the TH 8 complete no funneling set up while maxing my defenses and seriously its been extremely successful. Never have i been taken for all my gold storages let alone maybe 1 max. Otherwise working as been tested and proven in the past opponents going for TH and/or elixir and leaving.

anyway, I wanted to see how the pokeball TH 9 testing has been going? Ill be up there in a few weeks max and hope to use your layout for TH 9 but just wondering if you are sticking with it. Any updated screenshots of your TH 9 farming base?

Yeah, it was working so well for me as well, hence I decided to finalise the designs and share with everybody since its tested and proven

Haha, I have never been taken of all 4 gold/de before as well

I was testing at 1,600~1,700 trophy range haha, against full th9 farming armies, and sometimes a mini trophy army.

Its working great, although I currently only have TH8 defense, xbows still upgrading, only 3 wiz at lv6.

Still defending well against other th9, although I'm expecting attackers to stop coming once my xbows are done.

Would wait a little longer when my defense are abit more mature first before I share my results haha.

Current base:

Ive been using the townhall 9 and although my walls werent maxed (most 7 some 6) it works very well against people over lvl 100

But soon after that, when I further improve it, I started proving them one by one to be wrong, and the feeling was awesome hehe

Actually, i was just thinking that its actually possible to close up the core, with the walls used to protect the elixir storage(5+5), and also including the walls from the exterior cannon(7, maybe use the remaining 5 to create a funnel.

Im using the th8 pokeball with no funneling, increase protection for elixir and it works great!
would be better if my wizard towers werent upgrading >_>

Hey Jun,

Big fan, although I've never used your pokeball base, I am currently using Pingfaos tesla one, but I think at some point I will switch over. Wanted to get your opinion on you DE protection. I pretty consistently watch your yt channel and do you feel your DE storages were raided quite a bit? I think I'm getting to the point where I'm really focusing on getting my walls up (last few going from lvl 6 to 7 then working on those skulls) and upgrading my BK (currently lvl 4 so the DE I need to start storing up is getting more and more lucrative to attackers). Just wanted some good advice!

Also, what's your upgrading order? (Example: Mortar, Storage.. Etc.)
