Indeed. But sometimes helps with level 8 walls
Certainly, I agree. But when I known it won't be possible to play within 20 minutes, this is the army I leave training. It's ready in ~1 hour. Otherwise, barch!
Edit: I mean, because if I have this army ready when back, I know it's possible to revenge someone or go full power in a next attack (or looking for DE). So it's not my quickest farming army, but I consider healers helpful and cost effective in these kind of attacks.

You TH9's out there - healers are useful to you because you should be attacking TH8's (who only have 3 air defenses).
TH8's have much worse defensive capabilities than TH9's so quit trying to farm in Gold 1/Crystal 3 and come down to Gold 3. That is where TH8's are farming TH7's and you can wipe out any TH8 who made the mistake of filling his/her storages.
Against TH8's healers are still VERY relevant (I bring two but might only bring one now) and can be used to 3 star any TH8 for 300k+ of each and 1000-1500 DE. It's easier to find these full bases than search and search for those rare full producer raids. Have some archers and goblins along so you can take the producer raids cheap when they do show up, though.
TH 11 lvl 178 max walls; 45/45/20 heroes
TH 10 lvl 148 91 magmas; 40/40 heroes
TH 9 lvl 124 250 lavas; 30/30 heroes
For those who have a life - giants/healer against TH8's with full storages nets you more resources per hour OF YOUR TIME. With this strategy, you can do a raid and go get something done in the real world for a half hour while your army re-builds.
I might only make 800k gold per hour, but in that hour I am only playing the game for 20 minutes. For those who value their time, giants/healer nets more resources per hour of actually sitting in front of the game.
BARCHING is more about small gains often, which requires more time nexting and sitting in front of the game.

I can get almost a full barch at TH7 in the time it takes to make a healer, and don't forget giants. I'll stick to barching.
But infernoes still cancel out Healers. Perhaps I'll use Healers if somehow I found tons of th 9 to farm, but with elixir-for-walls deal, that's not gonna happen as well. For th 8-9, update on Healers might help, but for th 10... Meh.
