I am wondering what the point of this thread is. Does it serve a purpose?

Repeated bumping? I bumped once. The other posts from me consist of the original post and replies, like this one, to your post. There is no repeated bumping from me.

As to the purpose, that's a good question. Clearly the other posts about this issue aren't enough to convey user displeasure, since the bug has been a problem for weeks and the problem continues in game play. Does criticism of bugs in the game serve a purpose? Or is Supercell immune to that sort of feedback? I don't know the answer to that, but the evidence suggests which is true.

Repeated bumping refers to the fact that in recruitment sections you can bump once a day. More than that is 'repeated' doing it elsewhere in the forums is frowned upon.

And I believe that you are right the evidence does show that people can complain. out of 854 posts I think that is a lot of unhappy people out there.

I realize that people probably don't appreciate this but when lots of different threads on the same topic it makes it is very easy for posts to be missed ( either on the same topic or other burning issues). In all honesty the fact that this topic is posted every few days probably is resulting in the lack of comments on your thread.

This isn't a recruitment section, I didn't post anything about this there and my original post was yesterday. None of what you said applies to my post.

Yes. Any idea why 1) it has taken so long and 2) why it still isn't fixed? Presumably a glitch in code doesn't need to be bundled with a broader update. I'm no programmer but I don't see a practical reason for the two to be combined.

I am not a programmer either and I have no insights. All I can do is direct you to the thread where Anoushka makes an official announcement on the issue.

I honestly don't believe that SC would have waited if they could have fixed it with a maintenance break. Bugs are normally fixed quickly after any update once identified. It makes no sense to allow a major problem like this to continue if there was a quick fix.

I'm going to close this now as there is nothing else that can be added at this point.
