Then they will add another achievement/stat and another leaderboard, and people will again be kept busy for 6 months more.

Is there a confirmation on whether the update counts current wins, if that's one of the experience points?

Current wins do not count.

I'm Very happy with this update. Offense-Defense is pretty balanced and we got a new troop in the last update. Mines and storages outside please

I think one of the biggest things (at least for me) is the troop donation level. That is invaluable to clans with members of a wide variety of levels. That would mean that the level 6 TH could donate level 3 troops to his clan without worrying about upsetting anyone, because upon donation they would become level 5 troops (if I am to understand correctly).

Yes but if he is in farming clan he will be a TH8 much quicker and he can donate lvl5 troops anyway.

That's it folks ! Doesn't say come back tomorrow for more sneak peaks meaning that's it. Got to admit, Looks like the worst update ever. No new troops, No new Defense, No new barracks or camps, No new Heros and No new single player levels. Thank goodness they added an OPT-OUT for war options. Now my villiage can stay in a clan as it goes vacant with me not playing anymore.

What about every other update............

They rarely add new troops, it's been a looooong time since they added an actual defense (traps not included), there hasn't been a new barrack or camp in ages, there have never been new heroes and they'e never added single player levels. Sounds like just about every update is the worst ever
