GoWiPe at Th8

I'm a mid th8 with lv 1 golems and pekkas so I attack th8 with lv 3 drags and lv 5 ballons but use gowipe for clan wars to two star th 9 and rushed 10s. Even at my troop lvs gowipe is very effective at punching into the core with golems on the sides of my main atack force going down the center. Trying to lure cc troops for me kills the attack and I'm lucky to get 1 star so I use em to pull my troops to the core. Still have not got 3 stars with gowipe as at best I run out of time. 2 golems 2 pekkas lv 6 bk 12 wb and rest wiz. Cc wiz as well. I keep 4-5 wiz back to ensure the 50%.

If I could give some advice, use 3 pekkas, there is a lot more dps and you need it if your pekkas arent maxed for your th. Yes, CC pulling does quite often ruin your attack because th8s don't have the extra firepower needed to take out a CC that is not in the path of your primary attack.

I found this to get me more three star attacks at th8 than gowipe

I have heard and seen gowiva's pulled off with great success, however, i have still never seen on attack a base better than gowipe

i think it's good only if you have upgraded troops and if you attack th8 with them you will always 3 star them because usally they all have anti air bases

If I'm attacking a base with 3 ads then I am getting 3 stars with dragons and loons or mass dragon. I still have not found a th8 base that can stop dragons. I use gowipe when 4 ads would stop drags.

Yes indeed. Drags can destroy a th8, but if you are a maxed th8 like me, I'm generally never matched up with another th8, it is normally a th9 or th10, drags may work, but gowipe has a much higher success rage against those bases

I'm a now frequent user of gowipe since I am pushing to as high as I can. This is my army composition:

2 Golems (Level 1)
2 Pekkas (Level 1, going to 2)
8 Wall-Breakers (Level 4)
16 Wizards (Level 5)
2 Barbarians (Level 5)
2 Archers (Level 5)
3 Minions (Level 4)
1 Healing Spell (Level 4)
2 Rage Spells (Level 4)

Attacking Strategy:

Drop two golems down, not too close and not too far. Drop wall-breakers. Send some wizards behind (4-6) to take out outer buildings. Drop 1 wizard and see where it goes. If it goes to the center, i drop my two Pekkas and my king to follow. Drop 1 more wizard. If it goes to the center again, I'll drop the rest of my wizards. Drop a rage if needed and more wall breakers, if needed (my troops smash the walls faster than the wall breakers come in -.-). Once into center, drop rage to accelerate the troops to destroy the center. If there are Clan Castle troops, drop a heal if needed. Once over 50% and looks like a difficult three star, if there are few defensive buildings, drop barbs, archers and minions to try to reach the defenses.

So this is how I attack. If there is anything good suggestions that you people can make , please do. Oh and don't hate my levels of troops.
