For all you lower guys, this is a great way to start off your GoWipes, whether it be your in war, pushing or just want to have a bit of fun.

As the order of GoWipe suggests, you want to start with golems. Ideally drop them 6-12 spaces apart, (where ever you decide to attack from, try to make it in line with the CC, otherwise your troops will go to the side).

Following your golems, drop 2-3 wbs on each golem, only use 3 if the walls are lvl 9+, behind this, drop your wizards. Preferably drop 4 on either side of your attack and the CC wiz in the middle (save 4 wizards and 1 archer for cleanup).

From here, you want to use your first rage, drop it in the first layer of walls, so a bit of it is outside the base. Deploy the rest of your wbs in a line through this rage. When the base is open and the surrounding buildings clear, deploy your pekkas and barbarian king. use your second rage to breach the core if it is not already breached (still drop rage on core if it is open) and use the heal when pekkas are at 50%. Use the last wiz and archer to cleanup extra %'s at the end.

I hope this lengthy but detailed explanation helps you all,
    Cheers

Massive TY to billy. ferrara, my main english man, tought me everything i know!
You split your troops in two pincers? I always make one channel with wbs/peekas/wizards. Reason why its critical is TH8 is running lite on oomph and slitting your forces would split oomph. Personally I hated TH8 gowipe.

The clan castle though, is it recommended to lure the clan castle? Or is it fine as is, let things happen as they happen?

Hmm, wouldn't it be better to deploy the WBs first and then drop the rage spell just as the reach the wall. At long as the rage circle appears a split second before the WBs blow up they will get the benefits of it.

Alright guess you don't. But the cc though, what happens if a dragon comes out?

    Splitting army

It was asked wouldn't splitting your army make it weaker? The army is not split, but spread out, the golems and some wizards are deployed on the sides, but the pekkas, BK, CC and spells are used in the middle of the attack,

    Thanks :-)

    Rage and wbs

Yes youobuae, that would work better, accept the rage is used on the wiz as well as the wbs, so the sooner the wiz are raged up, the better.

    CC, lure or not?

Trickster asked 'should I lure the CC or not, what if it is a dragon?

Unless you have properly messed up your attack, your wizards should be able to take down a CC in no time, even if it is a dragon, as I explained in 'Deployment?', the best place to attack is in line with the CC, this is so it draws your attack into the core and not off to the side.

Hopefully this answers your question trickster,
    Cheers

I agree billy, lvl 3 pekkas may be hideously expensive, but they are definitely worth it. Those who have them or highers lvls would know this, the extra level or 2 makes a massive difference.

Our th8 members have experimented with single point deployment and a two box spread deployment, the spread method provided far better results than single point entry. As you said yourself, th8 GoWipe lacks oompf- hence why single point entry isn't as effect as all enemy defenses are concentrated at one point - quickly ripping your pack apart. Furthermore - for a successful 3star; a spread is essential, increase the width of the defensive wall your golems provide this allowing your core pack to walk through untouched

Many do lure, personally I feel this is a waste of time and precious troops (200 camp space is limited as it is). As Forky explained - time your preliminary rage spell and wiz correctly - you can deal with any cc with ease.

Again, Forky's reply is correct. Enrage your troops early in preparation. Dropping the rage last minute can make you lose focus on the rest of the raid as your concentrating on your wbs only. Lay it down early and take the pressure off yourself. Furthermore, this method of rage wb'ing your centre line is essential in deal with with the cc.

Hope we this helps! Nice write up fork, you should include some replays or screenshots

    Screenshots

I intend on adding screenshots but it is hard at the moment as since i am pushing, there are not many bases that are good examples of a th8 gowipe attack.
