Because they are level 4.!
I doubt that's the case, but dragons don't get much better with additional levels, so don't expect them to do much better than level 3 dragons.
Because your imagination is running wild. Probably getting wrecked by SAMs and higher level AD.

mass dragon is great for th7 v th7 or th8 v really bad th8 higher i wouldn't recommend using them

maybe because instead of attacking TH7-8 with your level 3 dragons you're now trying to hit TH9-10 with much better ADs?
Dragons are stupid and hard to control imo
