How long did it take you to have the border lined with pine trees?

I've seen bases with pine trees all around the border and was wondering how long it took to get them like that. I know the spawning is random so it could take one person a month and another person a year. I want to hear from people who have pine trees along the border so I can get a rough estimate

It doesn't take that long. But if you want to get all 4 corners perfect and then get the edges spaced evenly...as long as it takes.

None because it's stupid imo. There are gems in there. Also the base just looks better without them.

It takes a random amount of time

I've been leaving pines on the borders since the summer. I've got I believe about 15 of them now.

I collect trees on the border, and after 6 months I have about 11 pine trees, 5 other trees, 4 christmas trees and a gem box all on the border. Thinking about getting rid of the other trees and just keeping the pines, they do look better. 6 months is how long I have been playing, haven't been collecting trees that long- I removed all my obstacles the first few months.

It took me around 6-7 months to get all 40 around the edge of my base. (Granted that I had a X-mas tree on the edge base for a bit). But I chopped them all down a week ago because they got old really fast. I am now striving towards the biggest leafy trees around the edges. I think it matches the background forest a lot better. Just my personal opinion but go for those big trees!

I forced everything to spawn on the border by using all the flags spread out on my base pushing any obsticles onto the border. Took me about 3-4 months. 4 Christmas trees, two holloween headstones, and the rest pines. Any time a special event comes up, I'll remove a few trees and let the special obsticles spawn on the side. If you don't force it then it'll take ALOT longer.
