Well first off, I'm new to these forums so not sure if this is posted in the right section. But my current maxed TH8 except walls, (1/4 of my walls are skulls and the rest are lvl 7) is getting wrecked by TH9s who use giants, archers, AQ, and WB. Is there any good way to combat this? I have tried many base layout but have failed. I'm looking for a farming base. Thanks

Maybe try to funnel the giants through a hallway of spring traps and fling then off your base? Also making your sections of your base wide enough to avoid a jump spell spending two layers of walls.

sorry, but no. the same way a TH7 can't stop you, you have no chance at stopping a well organized attack from a TH9. soon you'll upgrade and enjoy stomping on TH8s.
Not much you can do. You can get better chance with fully upgraded traps, but a th 9 at full force will still be able to destroy you. I've seen more th 10 fails on th 9 than th 9 fails on th 8.
U can accept it, that th9's just wreck up ur base if they know a little bit about attacking.
Something u can do is, manage ur shields propperly.
What I mean with this is know when to break ur shield to go for attacks and when not.
What I do is I just farm until I get about 2mil gold/elixir, after that I start to wait out shields when I dont have time and do boosting session when I break my shield.
this way u wont get wrecked as much, as ur base isn't interesting for th9's to attack. Since there is no loot to gain. And if they attack, u lose a few cups. But hey! who cares right?

Max traps, build an anti-giant kinda base (such as it is for th8).....aaaand pray.
Lv6 giants were decent at launch, and got buffed twice i think. Now they are monsters when dropped on a th8.
Sorry bud, just got to suffer it.
TH10s with 50+ hero levels, 9.5s with 40+, silent noobs<> needs you!
