It's not that the game is more challenging playing free, it's just more boring. What challenge is waiting for troops to be ready or something to finish building? Thats like a painter saying he is better, because he sits and watches the paint dry.

That's only one aspect of Gemming. What's the challenge in Gemming the loot to start those boring build times

No one bats an eye when you drop $80 for a new PS3/4 or Xbox game, yet wonder why anyone would spend money on gems in clash. In my opinion I'll pay $80 for a PS3 game and get 30-60 hours of entertainment out of it, so I should be willing to invest the same in CoC. In fact i find that if you add up the hours I've played it must be hundreds of hours, so droping $100 or 2 to play over a few years is actually good value for the money.

We we dont buy gems we buy time i dont have the time to farm walls for months on end whilst running my business , so we short circuit this - there are people out there that have a resentment for the wealthy but then poverty and or a lack of money has always created dissent amongst the masses - many a time on global i was vilified by hard core farmers who it seems hate gemmers yet we pay the bills lol - i once retaliated on global and got banned - now i do not even go onto global to avoid the inevitable insults gemmers get -

You can't invest in CoC

Investment : expend money with the expectation of achieving a profit or material result by putting it into financial schemes, shares, or property, or by using it to develop a commercial venture.

Even if selling an account wasn't against TOS the amount of time it takes to build an account and the return amount u would get would come out to making 3 world country wages 😉

I know a richy rich friend who bought lots of gems to max his base (not instantly though). For him it was just a "small" hobby money. This guy thinks that with investing money on coc he have more time to focus on his business and bring home more money while still enjoying the game.

I guess for richy rich people spending money on coc is some kind of indirect investment.
