First 2 days as a TH9

That's not true. I'm th8 and I've had situations where someone's AQ was taken out before even getting to my loot.

That is possible only if it was badly handled or if he didn't bring enough troops/spells.

I have failed a few times but it is always because I made a mistake.

Once you get all your defenses built, arrange them in the farming Ringus. You will be constantly TH sniped. (EDIT: regular farming and DE protection both work wonders, but obviously the DE protection is better if you're trying to grind out hero upgrades early on. I just eventually left both my bases in the DE protection version 24/7)

After you take care of your offensive structure upgrades, max splash defenses before upgrading any other defense. Cut the farmers off entirely, then work on what you need to for clan wars/pushing/etc.

Yes, loots aren't bad at all.
I farmed 3.45m gold in 2 hours yesterday as a TH10; two collector raids, and the rest are storage raids.

Everyone feels the pain when transitioning town hall levels. It should get better once your x-bows are up.

I built xbows as soon as i enter th9 and have been upgrading them non stop. At the moment event average th9 hits me quite hard when i am kicked off offline.

Hopefully they can improve my base layout defense abit once they are all up in one week as lvl 3.

No, loot isn't bad at all for th9. There are tons of juicy th8s that you can wipe.

Yes I remember those day when I was early th9 at gold II, a lot of queen visit. But after I went up to 1900-2099 trophy it become more peaceful. A lot of snipers here.

Well, yeah. You can say that about any attack with any troop. I've seen it a number of times. First in my self created base where she was caught between an archer tower and cannon. And more recently on my current copied base where my clan castle wizards came and took her out.

No troop is a guarantee. Like any tool, it's all in how you use it. And to some extent the whims of the A.I. Or a phone ringing. Or your spouse/kids/parents walking into the room and distracting you.

You haven't used AQ, try her out before saying she can be taken out easily. Funny when I can barely 60% a TH8 without her, but when she's around almost all TH8 farming layouts can be 100% with 1-2 spells. Granted, there are times I make a mistake and she's taken out early, but when I funnel her correctly behind giants, maxed TH8 and new-mid TH9 are easily wiped

I don't need to use her, I see the results from attacks on my bases. Many attacks. You act like any one troop is foolproof, and as I detailed quite well above, it's all in how you use things and other random events outside your control. There are no guarentees. For instance, yesterday someone sent in a bunch of giants. My clan castle wizards took them all out. After that, the AQ didn't have that much protection and all eyes were on her.

Today, the opposite happened and a bunch of giants got into my core and attacked me from the inside out while a few of my weapons were being upgraded. The AQ did some damage too, but frankly she was not even needed.

TH9 in 9 days. I wonder if you guys can suggest a good farming base so i do not suffer much such as the OP.
I will definitely hang around 1900+ cups for a shield.
