"They had more TH10s than us!" - Sure, but you had more TH9s and none of their TH10s even have 240 troop space.
"Darn! I got disconnected...again!" - Weird how you always get disconnected after something doesn't go well during the attack. Somehow the game always disconnects you after it is clear that you failed to pull the CC on your hog attack.
I respect a Clasher if they talk normally on global without spam etc.
And the advice they give.
And their positivity

Friendly and Polite Player. They are an endangered species in online games.
this.. rarely see plays friendly or polite. regardless of age, gender, level, th level, number of lavas, i respect any clasher who is polite and friendly. even a complete noob. a th 10 with full lavas maxed defense can still be a complete douchebag.

Respect. Doesn't matter to me if I meet the second Jorge Yao who acts like a complete jerk. I'm accustomed to higher level gameplay so I'm also probably going to be a bit more respectful to the upper levels than the lower levels by at least some margin.
The base designers of course! Im not talking about the everyday clashers that make a base and never change it , I respect the players that design a base and watch replays constantly tweaking the layout until they are happy.

It's funny how a guy with 10 million gold grab but has maxed level base gets no respect. Just because he gems?
How about if that guy donates 100k+ to clanmates (gemming donations to ensure max level troops), has 500+ war stars (TH10) and like 70 million war loot, gems attacks last minute to surprise enemies..gives advice on how to attack to even lowbies, newbies, and highbies. Willing to use unorthodox attacks as per base layout (not a one-trick pony).
My TH10 account is about 60% gemmed with max TH9 and some TH10 troops and TH7 defenses, but gets 5-6 stars every war against maxed TH9s and low-mid TH10s. This is the bankroll of our clan in terms of donations. With 38 million gold grab, would this account get no respect?

Conqueror achievement is a good indicator of a good attacking player
Maturity and attacking skill.
If you gemmed your base but are a great attacker, then I don't care about how you got your troops/base.
It took a long time to gain the 'right' type of members in the clan I'm in. We have about 30-35 people out of hundreds who join and left/were kicked because they didn't display the maturity we looked for.
