I have been told by a little bird that in 2 days February 19th there will be an event starting. I don't have specifics on what the event will be asking for, make your own assumptions.

If they were to ask for those items that would exclude a lot of players who are not at the level to have those machines. I can't see SC doing something like that.

Haven't forgotten Xmas event at all, but that wasn't due to excluding too many players. That was because the global goal was set way too high and I don't think SC figured in the time it took to grow the cotton, make the fabric and then make a shirt (plus the fact people were busy getting ready for Xmas). The shirts unlock at level 19. That is a doable global event level. The sauce maker doesn't unlock till lvl 54 & sushi is made at lvl 56. That is really high for a global event. Anyone under those levels wouldn't be able to participate. I think that is a huge amount of players to exclude.

This upcoming event could Just be a regular event, like a fishing or truck or visitor event.

It is Chinese New Year.

This is the first year they have an event for this group-specific holiday. I wonder if this means SC will have more like this. I like this. It is more inclusive of various holidays.

Also, the price is 8 diamonds. The number 8 is good in Chinese since it rhymes with ...prosperity? I think.

It is a global event. Not sure what the prize is. The usual 5 diamonds?

I like the trucks. Tho I don't fill any truck, only those with 600+ xp. It will take me awhile, oh and 8 diamonds as the global reward seems good to me
