PEKKA AI needs vast improvement

I just GoWiPe attacked in war, and all three of my PEKKAs went around the outside to attack mines and what not, and totally ignored the gaping hole in the enemy's walls right in front of her.

@ 6:25 watch the PEKKA completely ignore the tesla tower, no walls in the way, no other buildings in the way, just completely ignored it and walked around hitting other buildings.

I'm not like most people on here who complain about the AI, I'm totally fine with the AI being unpredictable, but only to a certain extent. The video above shows exactly how bad the AI is for her. Hero AI is just as unpredictable as all AI for this game, but it seems that PEKKA is the queen of stupidity in this game these days.

pekka actually has the easiest ai to control. You just need to learn how it works and how to attack with them.

This is correct.
As a casual gowipe user- (more of a gowiwi guy)
I have learned that you need to clear out all surrounding buildings with your wiz. once that is complete bust through your attack point with wbs, at that point you would deploy pekkas/heroes.

Using this method I have never had pekka issues and when I do have issues its strictly my fault.

I have barbs and archers that do much worse things every now and then, but nobody cares because they are individually insignificant .
Only reason people complain about pekkas and heroes is because they make a bigger difference than barbs in the raid, despite randomness in ai being similar.

The thing that happened with the tesla is unfortunate but the distances weren't that different, depending on how far you see the army camp to be (the centre or the edge as the distance from the pekka, not sure which one is used.)

hahaha, exactly the type of responses I would expect from some people on this forum.

clearing the buildings is exactly what I did. they all chose to walk farther for other buildings. I had already blown the walls apart with WBs. She should have gone in. The clan castle was closer than the elixer collector she went after. The CC was inside the base, the EC was outside the base, plain and simple ignorance.

And I noticed that none of you had anything to say about the video I posted clearly showing her fouled up AI in action.

It's glorified Yahtzee there's no true skill in this game. You learn what works most of the time but between the random aspects and the buggy aspects you can place your Attack perfectly but still watch it fail. Maybe not bad for a tablet game but it will never be a game that measures true skill.
