But if they do frequent updates they can fix the issues from the previous updates that much faster. For example, the x-bow bug: because they're slowing down on updates we're now three months into living with this bug. :/
I think their update cycle should go like this: 2-3 "big" updates every year (completely new feature, new TH/structures/etc), peppered liberally with 6-8 "small" updates (new troop or troop level, new level for existing structure, bug fixes with some kind of promo (gem boost, etc), etc.).
I'd do the big updates in the spring and the fall, with the others spaced out to be every 30-45 days or so.
Put me down in the "getting impatient for an update" column. Having said that, it's nice getting all kinds of upgrades going without having anything new to worry about.

What this will do is unbalance the game or make it unatractive. How many updated do you really need and for what ??
are you a maxed th10... Did you become #1 in leader board... Finished all achievments??
Most people asking for the update have a long way to go.

I hate to break it to you, but there will always be bugs because nothing is ever perfect. Your suggested model of long months between updates is just setting people up for having to live with these bugs far longer than they should have to...
I think I'd quit if they went to two updates a year. Am I a maxed TH10? No, but I'm a very well developed TH9 who sees that while TH10 adds some things, other than walls (and max level heroes) I'd probably be completely done in another 5-6 months. And if you think grinding for walls/heroes will keep people playing, you've got another thing coming. For me I prefer big updates half yearly, this gives me time to enjoy the updates and let the new updates settle into the game.

That bug has absolutely nothing to do with what I said. Or in fact has anything to do with this thread. We are talking about early game stage here and the frequency of updates a new game gets compared to later down the road.
You effectively made no sense.
We were informed long ago that the plan was for that bug to be fixed in the next update.
So with that in mind... how is not getting attention?
Why you think the event was some sort of cover up I will never understand.

I'm a surgeon, if you were to come to me needing an operation and I give you two options... I rush your operation or do you prefer me to take my time, what would you pick? Nothing is ever perfect but rushing things is prone to making simple mistakes...
I've never mentioned minor updates to fix bugs and glitches shouldn't be released when needed. As you're a TH9, you should have noticed by now that each level has only given you a few extras and more levels to walls and structures, why you not quit the game already?
You've not even used freeze spell and infernos yet apart from the receiving end of them, you should enjoy those before requesting for more...
