Unfair(OP) War Match: This might solve the long time issue

Hi! First of all good day to all of you. My name is Edward, I would like to tell first why I came up to this idea. Please take time to read all if you want to get what my concern is. If you don't feel reading it all, please feel free to go back previous page.

With our recent matches, I've been troubled why we keep on getting strong opponents which has a big difference in defence rating. And I know you guys have the same problem as I have. Actually if some of you didn't know, matchmaking doesn't count TH levels, Thropies, Exp level, troops. The only thing that matters when finding a fair opponent for you is the "Overall Defence" of your whole clan. So basically it's the total quantity and level of your defensive structures, traps, walls and heroes.

Using this references, I view our opponents one by one but it doesn't seems right. All our enemy has bigger defensive ratings. So I tried to contact customer support ingame and ask few question why our team keeps on having OP enemies. Their answer is simple. Unfortunately there are really times where each of us might encounter strong enemies and at the same time there are also times that we might encounter weak enemies and that just make it fair. Their reason for this is to shorten the time used for searching opponents. Which I think most of you guys have wished/requested for them to do thats why they did that.

But in terms of time saving, in some way this really doesn't help. If you think of it, you'll gonna spend 2days of war prep and war day before you end your obviously one sided loss match up. And that doesn't save you time in war. So in our opinion, it's better to waste time in searching your "fair" opponent rather than unluckily match up with a "strong" opponent and spend 2days of waiting for another match.

So here's my suggestion that will solve the issue in both ways. Since some of us wants the searching to be faster and some wants to have a fair fight even spending some time searching (like me). When starting a war, i wish you can change the interface and add two buttons (instead of just "start war button). "Quick search" button and "Standard search" button.
    Quick search
    - will search for an opponent in a faster way. Chance to find a strong or easy opponent. This is what we have now.
    Standard search
    - will search for a fair match up with close enough defensive ratings with each other. Will take more time to search for an opponent.
Like I said, this way will benefit both ways and no one should complain of having a strong opponent since you've got to choose from the start if it will be a quick search or a standard search.

Thank you. Have a nice day everyone.

P.S. Ive read the sticky notes and ruled out section and Ive searched some have similar suggestions but none have the quick search and standard search so I've post this thread.

Or they could just deduct the search time from prep time (i.e. start prep day as soon as you hit the Start War button. That would satisfy those who are impatient and also ensure you get a better matchup. There would still need to be some limit on search time so that it doesn't cut into prep time too much. I'm not really in favor of shortening prep time too much because of the time differences with international clans.

wrong... Not just based solely on defence

    Clan wars matchmaking

How are clans matched for a clan war?
Clan wars matchmaking matches clans based on the strength of their members. Unlike multiplayer battles, trophies have no influence in determining your clan wars opponent. After an opposing clan is found, the war immediately starts. There’s no “nexting” in clan wars matchmaking.

How is strength calculated in clan wars?
Strength is based on each member’s attacking power (troops, army camp capacity, spells and heroes) and defensive strength (defense buildings, walls, traps and heroes). Different layouts and base designs do not affect strength. The only way a member’s strength can be changed is if they upgrade their troops, defenses, spells, etc.

Basicly it does count TH level, since a lower TH won't have as many defense buildings as higher ones..
Basicly it does also count troops, as in levels of Heroes..

You want weaker opponents?..... Ditch the higher rushed ones, and replace them for maxed lower ones..
Tell your group to upgrade walls as this is just very important.. People don't like to upgrade walls? tell them just to leave 1 builder open to do walls from the beginning
